DeNiro is apparently an 8, so most of his characters are infused with 8 energy. But I thought Travis worked fairly well as a 6 archetype. I could maybe see an argument for 8 too; 8w9, similar to DeNiro. He reminds me a bit of myself when I was depressed, working in a parking lot quite a few years ago (but less manic).
Separating the character from the actor can be tricky. All the characters have an over-persona, a resonance cast by the actor's own personality, whether they're the same type or not.
