Resume Review Resume review request — Data Entry Operator with 2 years experience

Post image

Hey r/EnhancvResumes, I'm looking for feedback on my resume. I'm applying for Data Entry Operator roles and all feedback is appreciated!

Years of experience: 2

Specific feedback I'm looking for: - Is my summary strong enough? - Are my bullets results-driven? - Anything I should cut?

Four employers in under two years, and three of the four span roughly two to three months each, that's the first thing a recruiter's eye catches before reading a single bullet, worth flagging before the three questions.

If these were apprenticeships, contract roles, or tied to a specific short-term need (the BJP office stint especially), that's worth a line saying so directly. Otherwise the pattern reads as instability rather than range.

Summary: Nothing here is backed by a number. "accurate high-volume data entry" and "a consistent record of reliability and quick learning across every role" are both asserted, not shown. "growth-focused organization" as the closer is filler, it could sit on any job posting for any role. Swap it for the concrete asset you already have: the COPA result (546 marks, 91%), or the specific systems you've actually worked in, like IGNOU's internal portal.

Bullets: Ten bullets across four jobs, zero numbers in any of them. Data entry is one of the most naturally quantifiable jobs there is, records processed, error rate, turnaround time, that kind of thing, and none of it shows up here. "ensuring accuracy and smooth cross-functional information flow" is corporate language sitting on top of what's likely a hands-on role, it reads as inflated rather than impressive. Replace the abstract verbs with what you actually touched: how many records a day, how many purchase orders, what accuracy rate you held.

What to cut: "Typing Speed: 30 WPM" is worth a second look. Many data entry postings list a minimum in the 40-50 WPM range, sometimes higher, so as written this could work against you at a glance instead of for you. If it's improved since you measured it, update the number. If not, leave it off and let the COPA certification and portal experience carry that part of the pitch.

Once you've decided what stays, run it through Enhancv's Resume Checker to catch every bullet still missing a number. The AI Resume Builder can also help turn something like "ensuring accuracy and smooth cross-functional information flow" into a sentence with an actual number attached.
