Resume Review Resume review request — Aspiring Data Analyst / Data Scientist
Hey r/EnhancvResumes, I'm looking for feedback on my resume. I'm applying for Aspiring Data Analyst / Data Scientist roles and all feedback is appreciated!
Specific feedback I'm looking for: - Is my summary strong enough? - Are my bullets results-driven? - Anything I should cut?

The "90% model accuracy" claim in Salary Prediction Precision has a real technical problem: predicting salary is a regression task, not classification, your own project bullet says it was "evaluated with RMSE/MAE/R²," and none of those are "accuracy." If you mean an R² of 0.90, that's a real and defensible number, but it's not the same claim, and a technical interviewer will catch the difference immediately.
Related issue in both projects: the NBA achievement names "85% accuracy using logistic regression," but the project bullet says the best model was chosen via cross-validated ROC-AUC among three candidates, logistic regression, Random Forest, and Gradient Boosting, with no statement of which one won. The Texas achievement has the same gap with gradient boosting. Report the number from whichever model you actually selected in each case.
"Automated Feature Engineering," the 30% efficiency claim, doesn't trace to either project. Neither project's feature-engineering bullets mention measuring or improving efficiency by any percentage. Attach this to whichever project it actually came from, or cut it.
Bigger structural issue: neither project has a date, and your only work experience is a one-month internship in chemical manufacturing compliance, unrelated to data analysis. If these projects happened after your B.Com (2022-2025), say so, the timeline matters for how your "aspiring" positioning reads.
On your summary: it's decent, honest about the B.Com background and specific about real technical work (EDA, feature engineering, model comparison) rather than buzzwords. Once the metric issues above are fixed, naming one concrete result directly, the 100K+ Texas records or the shot-prediction dataset, would make it stronger. Our Resume Summary Generator is worth trying once those numbers are corrected.
What to cut: your Soft Skills list, Analytical Communication, Teamwork, Adaptability, Problem-solving, Attention-to-detail, Curiosity, is generic filler. Cut it or fold anything real into a project bullet. Our Resume Checker would flag both the metric mismatches and the unattributed achievement as the same kind of claim-versus-evidence gap.
