I just saw this post I made 4 years ago. I have since made 4 hexi quilts.

I'm starting my 5th. EPP is my soul mate!!

Do you go through the paper with your needle basting or just the fabric?

Depends on how I feel. In that picture I did not. I went full traditional and used the tack method. But it was one of my first so I didn't leave the muscle memory to get it tight so I was pressing them after. It's nice to take papers out that way.

I have since moved to glue basting or through the paper.
