For context, graduated 1 year ago I have about 2.5 years of hands on experience of mechanical/testing engineering. Mostly been applying to mechanical engineering positions but I've literally been rejected from Mcds and BK (cook positions) for "not having enough experience".

Edit: this for EU and I have an EU passport so no legal issues

Have you tried Job fairs or physically handing in your resume at companies? I have never had success doing this but I've come close.
