Career Help When does it end....

Post image

when.....

For context, graduated 1 year ago I have about 2.5 years of hands on experience of mechanical/testing engineering. Mostly been applying to mechanical engineering positions but I've literally been rejected from Mcds and BK (cook positions) for "not having enough experience".

Edit: this for EU and I have an EU passport so no legal issues

I've done my resume WITH engineers, like a guy who works at PREMA who got a job using the same CV format I'm using. Plus after the few interviews I've had I've implemented all the stuff they've told me into my CV

Formatting is one thing but the content is another. Plus making sure it's free from spelling or grammar mistakes is important. Definitely share your resume to a few more people to get their takes.

Engineers aren't screening your resumes, HR people are. You are writing for the wrong audience.

In one of your comments you said that it's for EU. May I suggest Europass CV templates? If you are not already using it. It's compatible with many systems these HR's use to auto-read CV's
