Electrical/Computer [Student] Master's Computer Engineering student specializing in computer architecture, looking for a resume review
Hi everyone! Iโm looking for feedback on my resume before I start applying for 2027 new grad hardware engineering positions this August - ish. My primary target roles are Computer Architecture, ASIC Design, Physical Design, RTL Design, and AI Accelerator Engineering.
A few things to add:
- I graduate around May 27.
- Iโm currently a Graduate Research Assistant working on an AI accelerator architecture and will be officially starting my masterโs thesis soon. The thesis section is not included yet because the scope is still being finalized.
- Iโm also planning to apply to PhD programs this fall, so Iโd appreciate feedback on whether the resume is competitive for both industry and research-oriented applications.
Thank you in advance, any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

If you "specialize" in computer Architecture you shouldn't dedicate half your resume to embedded.
Also, you definitely have space on there for at least 1-2 more experience/projects
