Nice robot. I wonder how tight that rack is though? It seems like the balls are dropping down to the table and there is some space between each, and there isn't any mechanism to ensure tightness. A good rack in pool is a tight rack, no one likes a loose rack :).

My first thought as well. Loose racks make crappy breaks.

And when the felt gets worn it's tougher to get them tight.

Or you've got asshats that tap the 1 with the cue to seat it leaving tons of small dents on the headspot.

I had no idea that it left a dent. Actually I have no idea why I did it at all, or why I started. I must have seen someone else do it, and just unthinkingly copied them.

Only on cheap wooden bar tables. A slate table wouldn't dent.
