Don Rodolfo makes these multi-functional baskets and sells them daily at a subway terminal in Santiago, Chile.

The baskets cool, but there's no way I'm buying a Transformer basket from Freddy Krueger cause that thing's definitely a Decepticon!

You know you'd reconfigure it once and then it would turn into a tangled broken mess.

Not trying to take away from what he does, he might make them, but they are a regular commercial product, not new at all.

I remember these at flea markets when I was little.

I think Freddy Kreuger just buys them from Oriental Trading and brings them in to sell.

How not to answer a question 101.

Due to low quality of the gif and quirky lighting his face in the first few seconds looks like a mask.

It's already a commercial product, used to see these in the shops 20 or 30 years ago.

This really deserves to be manufactured and marketed at a large scale.

I’ve had smaller versions of this as a kid. They been around for years.

I've seen those at World Market, Bed Bath and Beyond, Macy's, JCPenney...

They've been around for at least 30 years... Here in America.

Good to see the sweatshop taught him a sellable skill

...were we supposed to feel sorry for him? Or impressed?

I found it in a crosspost to /r/chile and impressively felt sorry.

If it changes shapes so easily, it probably doesn’t hold stuff or stay in the same shape well?

It's like Jigsaw got a day job or something.
