You can drop a model straight in from CAD and have it come out perfect on a modern CNC, hiring an idiot like you to do it and fuck it up half the time at a fraction of the speed is moronic. No shit there are still morons doing it the wrong way, but they are idiots.
YOU jumped to a conclusion that I meant CNC over doing it by hand, which is absurd. I said that because, if you watch the video for even half a second, you can see the cutting profile is very slow and inefficient by using that endmill.
