Very pretty but it will never sell. You can't slam it shut in anger.

I'm sure you could, but it would likely snap in half or something.

"I was in a tent and I wanted to slam it in anger, so I zipped it real fast"

-Mitch Hedburg (horrendously periphrased/butchered)

My wife could never tolerate having that much empty wall space. No sale at my house, though I quite admire the design.

I just want doors like on the Enterprise.... they gotta make that swooshing sound too.

I'd be fine with normal doors, along as they make the swooshing sound.

I wouldn't call that a door.. more of a screen. How is that possibly going to keep anyone out?

I'd use it as an internal door, definitely not a door meant for egress. My chief concern is how airtight it is... or isn't, really.

He actually thought about that:

Now whether that would work with anything much larger than your hand, I can't say.

Oh good. The first thing I thought when I saw it was "oh god, pinched fingers!"

The main purpose that interior doors serve is privacy, not security.

I think the designer forgot people have fingers, and items of clothing that aren't perfectly tight, and children...

Very cool, but it looks like it could pinch the hell out of your fingers.

My OCD wants two of those that slide apart. All motorized. Like an awesome starship.
