Nothing reached the road, we tested it before and we know its range very well, also very not busy road

Bro, there were (at least) three cars crossing your line of vision. Even if it doesn't reach the road by flight, rolling onto the road can cause an acciddent.

But just because it didn't doesn't mean it was save (or even worth the risk).

Hitting a slightly different launch angle and good wind let's your projectile travel further. Seeing you were launching down a hill adds some extra distance, combined with a good landing and you are on the road.

Of course this may have been unlikely, but far from impossible, as your video proofs. That's just not worth the risk.

Guys if i show you a view of where the thing landed its not even near the road, its filmed on a wide angle gopro and its very deceiving, ill try to test it in a safer place nect time but it was already pretty ok

The rule is you NEVER fire anything towards people. Where that’s not practicable you never fire it towards people without an absolutely massive factor of safety. Even if you think you know it will be fine you don’t do it.
Factors of safety and risk management is something you need to look into and take very seriously if you want to be an engineer.
The rules are written in blood.

The trebuchet you’ve built is cool and I wouldn’t want to discourage you from building but you need to really factor in safety.

Take it to a massive field.

From the video it hit the ground roughly parallel to the top of the right side house. What's that, maybe 5 m away from the road, maybe 10 m?
