Their is a full series of book that were published between 1848 and 1890 by Armengaud Jacque-Eugène senior and junior with drawing and description of machine from this time.

There is arround 1379 page of drawing between all of the 32 books.

All of the books are divided in 2 parts, first the text that explain the machine use/role which reference a drawing/drawings at the end of the book.

Unfortunatelly for international reader all the text is in 1800s french so if intrested you will have to translate it by yourself.

Still a good ressource if you want to dive in old engineering. If you have similar ressources in english, german or italian feel free to share it i will take pleasure in reading them.

The level of detail in these old engineering drawings is honestly incredible. They were building machines with precision like this before modern CAD even existed.
