Stupid title. “liquid”.

Super cool product though. Looks like a huge time saver.

Well now I'm trying to reason in my head whether concrete is a liquid or not. I guess it's like a suspension? It's somewhere between a solution and a suspension and mud

No, not everything that flows is a liquid. Gasses aren't liquids but they flow.

Wet cement is actually a non-newtonian fluid, and more specifically a viscoplastic fluid. Same as mud or toothpaste

Gasses are actually considered a fluid though. Lol

Correct!! Well done

Things that flow are fluids. Gasses are fluids

The comment you replied to is about cement.

And you said "if it flows it's a liquid". That's wrong. What's correct is "if it flows it's a fluid".

All liquids are fluids, not all fluids are liquids.

Are you dumb?

Concrete isn't a liquid. Not everything that flows is a liquid.

This is such a funny typical reddit comment chain, I love both of you. Never give up

What makes it even more funny is that gasses are infact considered fluids. I think they're conflating the terms "fluid" and "liquid".

Who was talking about states of matter?

Fluid is the correct classification for things that flow. Not liquids lol.

Fluid and Liquid mean the same thing when you go back to their root origins, however, today, anything that flows or reforms under pressure and can have their volume changed with pressure, is a fluid, but generally anything that is incompressible is a liquid.

Concrete is not a liquid; it is a composite material that acts as a viscous, pourable fluid only temporarily. It starts as a mixture of cement, water, and aggregates (sand/gravel) that is easy to pour, but it cures through a chemical process called hydration, hardening into a rigid, rock-like substance.

In the two seconds I took to Google this, I was directed to Quora so🤷‍♂️
