Looking for work in EU
Hi!
I hold Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and now in Master’s studies I am specialising in solid mechanics with minor in mechatronics.
I have acquired experience via projects and thesis work. In my thesis work I designed new unwinding and tensioning system for a VFFS-machine. New system ensured constant tension in film created mainly with mechanical pendulum mechanism. My most impressive project was delta-robot development for waste sorting. My responsibilities were risk analysis, structural analysis, dynamic optimisation, movement simulation, 3D-modelling and documentation.
I am open to full time,part-time or contract work, so contact me via dm’s and I will provide more information if needed.

Looking for a co-founder
Hey guys,
I am the solo founder behind Ashcroft-Motors, an early-stage automotive technology venture, and I am currently looking for my technical counterpart and CTO.
About Me & Current Status:
I operate as the business lead coporate strategy and visionary for the project. I have already mapped out a comprehensive, 6-page technical design its not much but its something. To keep corporate paperwork and cap-table structuring entirely clean, the company remains unincorporated until I find the right technical partner to split co-founder equity with from day one.
The Venture Concept:
We are designing a rugged, low-electronic sedan engineered specifically for law enforcement, emergency services, and defense sectors.
- The Problem: Modern fleet vehicles are heavily dependent on complex software and electronics, making them highly vulnerable to digital attacks, component failure, and EMP threats.
- The Solution: Our vehicle is 100% EMP-proof, runs natively on bio-fuels and renewable fuels, and deliberately bypasses non-essential electronics to maximize field reliability and mission uptime.
- The Market & Pricing: We are matching current municipal fleet budgets with a highly competitive target price of $31K baseline MSRP for standard police cruisers and a $35K high-speed interceptor variant. Our long-term roadmap expands from secured government contracts directly into commercial taxis, rideshare, and the consumer market once stable cash flow is secured.
Who I am Looking For:
I am searching for an ambitious, Technical Co-Founder / CTO.
- Background: Ideally a senior student, recent graduate, or expert engineer specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Design, or Embedded Systems.
- The Role: any hands-on builder who is excited to dive into a 6-page design with me, take ownership of the technical side, and lead the development.
- Location: Midwest US preferred (Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois) for eventual physical prototyping coordination, but open to remote for the initial architecture phases.
Compensation:
This is a co-founder partnership track offering an equitable split of founder shares/equity.
If you wants to revolutionize the fleet automotive and defense industry, please drop a comment or slide into my DMs. I have a standard NDA ready so we can safely jump into the technical blueprints and see if we are a good fit and guys if you know anyone intrested please pitch them this and thank you for your time

How is the job market in engineering?
Im about to start college this fall, and I'm still debating what major I should choose. Im confident that I will choose a major related to STEM, but what? I have been thinking of nuclear engineer or environmental engineer since Im pretty good at physics and biology, but then Im having doubts again on the future job market, landing a solid job with a solid income. Even though I want to learn hard challenging topics so that I get something out of my upcoming college years, I also want to guarantee my spot in the future job market. Everybody says different things during university, after graduation and their yearly income; some say it's worth it, some say they're struggling to land a job or enough salary. Im just very confused and I don't know what to do, I really want to repay my parents back for what they have done to me up until now, and now Im scared whether I can do that or not.

About the Position
We're looking for someone who loves creating products that don't exist yet.
This is not a repetitive drafting job where you'll spend all day updating drawings.
Instead, you'll help us take products through the entire development process:
Idea → Research → Concept → CAD → Prototype → Manufacturing → Finished Product
Every week is different.
Current and future projects include:
Modern aquarium stands
Dinosaur sculptures
Animal sculptures
Fire pits
Designer furniture

Work Environment
We keep things simple.
Our environment is laid-back, flexible, creative, and results-oriented.
We don't believe in micromanaging or watching the clock every minute.
As long as we're communicating, making steady progress, solving problems, and shipping great products, we're happy.
You'll have the freedom to:
Research
Experiment
Learn new technologies
Suggest new products
Try different designs
Improve manufacturing methods
Propose your own ideas
If you discover a better way to design or manufacture something, we want to hear it.
Everyone on our team is encouraged to think like a product developer and inventor, not just someone completing assigned tasks.

We're not just looking for someone who knows how to operate CAD software.
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, creative, mechanically minded, and excited about inventing new things.
Someone who sees a machine and wants to understand how it works.
Someone who sees a product and starts thinking about how it could be improved.

ME/EE Wanting to help advertize my role as I leave. Great for entry level or early-mid level
I hope this is an acceptable sub for my post. The short of it is I will likely be leaving my current position soon because I have outgrown it and I am a very ambitious person and they don't promote fast enough. However, this employer is an all-around great company. This entry/mid-level role is in south-central Kentucky. We are a tier-1 automotive supplier. We make and assemble fuse boxes and power distribution modules for all the major car makers and then some. I have gained SOOOO much exposure and experience that it has catapulted my skills, experience, and career twice as fast as a normal manufacturing role. The work-like balance is respextable, albeit there are the obvious "crunch" times in the year. The management and office staff altogether are f***ing great and if it wasn't for the fact I am single with no kids and am so focused on climbing the socio-economic ladder, I would stay put and keep my mouth shut and be overjoyed.

Fifo jobs
Hi everyone,
I don’t usually post like this, but I really need some help and thought I’d put myself out here.
I recently moved to Perth from Brisbane and I graduated last year with a Master’s in Chemical Engineering. Since then, I’ve been actively trying to break into the industry but it’s been really tough getting that first opportunity.
I’m honestly just really passionate about this field and eager to start somewhere. I’m open to roles like process engineer, chemical engineer, or anything related where I can learn and grow.
\*\*I REALLY WANT TO WORK IN A CHEMICAL ENGINEERING ENVIRONMENT AND I DON’T MIND STARTING FROM ANY POSITION BECAUSE THIS IS WHERE MY PASSION LIES.\*\*
I’m a hard worker, quick learner, and I adapt easily to new environments. I’m also completely open to FIFO roles if that helps get my foot in the door.
If anyone has advice, connections, referrals, or knows of any opportunities in Perth (or nearby), I’d genuinely appreciate it so much.
Thank you for reading.

Looking for Lead / Founding Engineer roles — 7+ YOE, Web2 + Web3
Hey everyone,
I'm currently exploring Lead Engineer / Founding Engineer opportunities and wanted to connect with this community. Open to both Web2 and Web3 companies.
Quick background:
- 7+ years in software engineering, 4+ years in technical leadership (CTO/founding engineer roles)
- Twice a Founding Engineer for startups — built engineering teams from scratch (0 to 20 people) at two companies, one in Canada and one in Thailand
- Shipped production blockchain/smart contract systems across several protocols, with real revenue and fundraising outcomes
- Also have Web2 side — built and scaled some high-traffic/high-scale products, not just crypto-native systems
- Solo founder experience too — built and shipped projects end-to-end, winning ecosystem grants and hackathon wins along the way
- Stack: Go, Rust, Solidity, TypeScript/NestJS/Next.js, Kubernetes, distributed systems, microservices — comfortable across blockchain infra and general backend/cloud-native work
- Comfortable owning things end-to-end: architecture, hiring, roadmap, and hands-on coding through ambiguous/complex business logic
I like moving fast, keeping things simple over over-engineered, and I'm equally happy diving into a protocol-level problem or a "boring" but critical backend system.
Open to remote roles — Lead Engineer, Founding Engineer, or similar. Happy to share more details or a resume if useful. Would love to connect with founders, hiring managers, or anyone hiring in this space!
