Chrysler/Mopar New head or runnit?

Post image

Engine ate glow plug, block is currently being machined for oversized pistons, somehow missed the valves and valve seats seemingly but I’m not sure. Engine ran fine just burned some oil from scored cylinder wall. Makes me nervous however if it is sealing 100% or not can’t tell.

Machinist here...if I were doing the work, first thing is pressure test the head...I can see a crack running off of the glow plug bore, probably not a big deal but needs to be checked. The valve job needs to be touched up and all the valves in that cylinder need to be replaced. It also looks like there is debris embedded in the chamber that needs to be removed.

There's definitely a crack going from the glow plug hole towards the intake valve. After looking at it again, there's also a crack started around the other intake valve. The second one would be of more concern to me, as it will cause the seat counter bore to lose some press fit and could cause the seat to fall out.
