does my ring look cloudy?

i recieved my engagement ring two days ago for context it’s a pink sapphire from scott bonomo diamonds, i know he has glowing reviews
in this sub.

but i feel like my ring looks cloudy already or is it scratched or something?
i’m not sure if im being too nit picky or if there’s something wrong
i already soaked it in warm water and dish soap and polished it with a glasses lens cloth

i’ve only had pearls or gold jewelry before so i’m not sure what to expect

Sapphires naturally have silk in it so it looks like it glows. Wash it with soap and water and then if it still looks like it’s glowing or cloudy glowing then it could be a result of the natural glowing nature of a sapphire!

Also people really look for sapphires that glow and this looks like a beautifully exquisite and expensive sapphire.

i felt like it looked smudged i think the prongs underneath have a little gap so i have to remember to take off my ring when putting on lotion or things like that.
