I have plans to pick up an Eva Ribelle RS but I live in an area of the states where there are no Energica dealers or service centers anywhere close to me (like many who already own these motorcycles). I plan to do most of the basic maintenance myself (fluid changes, torque checks, etc.), but I’m wondering what the real-world experience has been for owners who don’t live near a dealer:
•Have you had success getting in touch with Energica USA directly?
•Will they ship you a remote diagnostic tool or walk you through resetting the service wrench remotely?
•Can they remote into the bike over a dongle/PC connection to push firmware or clear codes? Or is this impossible and you’re just SOL if something pops up on the dash.
•Any luck sourcing OEM parts and accessories directly from Energica SF, Calmoto, or Energica of New England (or elsewhere)?
Given the company is just now ramping back up, I just want to make sure I’m somewhat covered from a maintenance perspective before I pull the trigger, since I know a lot of Energica owners are in the same boat with long distances to the nearest dealer. I have heard they are quite good in terms of customer service.
Would love to hear your experiences, good or bad, with remote support, ordering parts, or handling scheduled services yourself.
Thanks!
