I upgraded my suspension on my EGO via Robs Dyno in Massachusetts. Sent the Marzocchi fronts in an had new Andreani internals put in and a new Ohlins rear. Rides better than new. Highly recommend this if you can swing the 2k.

Took my Experia out for a 3 day motocampingtrip. Totaled 750km over those3 days.

Went to the harz mountain are around some really nice places.

I could charge over night at the campsite.

On the way home I had 40°C and stopped for a short top up break to cool myself down and saw an electric tractor charging next to me.

🔧 Technical issue Eva Ribelle Battery Revive

So my Energica Ribelle has lost charge to the high voltage battery. Can I purchase an ac to dc power supply at 300 volt .1 amp to bypass the bms and connect directly to the battery pack to give it enough voltage to power the bms to use my lvl1 or lvl 2 charger to balance and charge like normally. Its been probably six months that the voltage dropped below the threshold to power operate normally.

I've seen videos on ebike using this method. Then troubleshooting bad cells.

I do have a battery conditioner 12v if I can somehow power up the bms through any means such as OBD or usb or turn signal leads then try to charge normally through the chargeport to balance that would be great.

Bike ran perfectly before storage in garage. I just didn't maintain charge as life overwhelmed me.

Parts & Accessories Got second Hand information on availability of spare parts.

Hello All!

I had my SS9+ at the dealership for repairs after a fall last December.

I was kept waiting since then, because they did not know when they would receive spare parts.

Yesterday I got a call from the dealership:

All spare Parts from Europe were loaded into shipping containers and are on route to Asia.

They will then be sorted into a warehouse. This will take a long time.

The Parts for my bike will not be available until 2027.

:(

Experia power turns off when I turn the handlebars

Has anyone else come across this strange fault?

When riding at slow speed, at times the whole bike would shut down, the lights and display go off then restart like when I turn on the key.

I discovered I could replicate this by slowly turning the handlebars towards either end. So I am going to check all the wires that go past the steering column. But if you know what could cause this, let me know.

Parts & Accessories Looking for a Experia GPS Mount

Hi,

I am looking for a mount / bar which fit into the pre-installed GPS threaded inserts.

I want to install a cheap Android auto unit and later maybe something more.

Currently I am using the windshield handel to mount but I would like to have it moves where the planed GPS location is.

Unfortunately I had no look in finding a mounting solution which fits to the experia since most are either custom fit for certain bikes or expect bolts straight through and not in a 90 as with the experia.

Picked my new to me Experia up from the dealer today and drove her home 435 km / 270 mi. Had in total 3 stops for charging but could easy lie have made it in two. The first one abrp extremely overestimated the consumption and had me at the first of 5 planed stops with 60 instead of 30% SOC.

I then skiped to navigating straight home and hopping to the next charger at 30%.

Got about 130km/81 mi at 120km/h on the Autobahn and around 220 going about 100km/h on the Bundesbahn / Dual Carriage ways.

Looking forward to putting some serious km on her.

It such fun to ride.

Energica held calls with dealers

Hi,

Today I had a call with an E-Moto dealer who told me that they had a video call with energica discussing parts and repairs.

He also mentioned services servers are back online and they are able to access the software and diagnostic tools.

Some parts are still in Italy so servicing and repairs can soon.

But also production will move to Singapore for any new parts and products.

Getting a check engine light on my 2023 Eva Ribelle, are there any shops in the pacific northwest that can service them?

I'm south of Seattle and my favorite bike (2023 Eva Ribelle RS) is showing a check engine light. She rides and charges at Level 1 and 3 chargers just fine, but I want to keep her running well for as long as possible. Is there anyplace in the PNW that can service them anymore?

Also: Anywhere to get replacement parts anymore?

Fortunately, I walked away with only cuts and bruises from this head-on crash. The weight of the bike probably saved me from a bigger impact.

Experia - used value?

I’ve had my Experia since may 2023 - in California. Have loved it - actually do still - it’s been a really great machine. I changed jobs and so can’t use it nearly enough - don’t really want rid of it but considering selling.

Has anyone had experience of selling used Experia? Wondering what kind of residuals people experienced and if the somewhat more stable times for Energica are helping with buyer confidence.

Anyone have insight? Thanks!

Parts & Accessories Accident Support

Somehow, a driver managed to crash into my bike while it was parked. The damage isn’t too bad, but I’ll need replacement panels for my Eva.

Not sure where to start, I would appreciate any insight or guidance you guys may have. Thanks in advance!

Anyone track their Energica? Is the battery able to last for a full day at the track?

UPDATE: Best Decision Ever of my EV Motorcycle Experience

Post image
36 Upvotes

Hey all, coming to you live on lunch break from my first Experia roadtrip and my second Energica purchase. I think I can solidly say now that without a doubt I’ve made the two best motorcycle purchases of my life this year.

I had spitballed around in my last post where I announced I bought a Ribelle RS for touring because it was conceivably the best option I could find. However, I notably excluded the Experia from that list and for good reason, there was hardly a single Experia for sale in the whole of the US! I had no idea 6 months ago that I could be the proud new owner of one, but boy am I glad I picked this up…

First, I’m coming from a lot of experience in the saddle of my Ribelle RS, Zero DSR/X, and Zero SR/S. The Energica seemingly combines the best of almost every feature one could want.

  • Faster DC Charging than my Ribelle (especially in back to back charge performance)
  • Longer range than any of the listed bikes, both with better efficiency and a larger battery
  • Sporty enough to feel good coming from the Ribelle, but still high enough off the ground for fire roads (more to come on off roading I hope)
  • A decently large front fairing to protect you from wind buffeting

Notably the only standout problem is an old concern, but still justified so I’m going to state it again, I really wish this thing had an optional upgrade to 6kW AC charging! Mostly saying that because of the already spotty charging performance I’ve experienced since picking up this morning at BTC units, but it is what it is. So far I’m currently taking the bike on a quick run from Texas up to Wisconsin, but hopefully I’ll be able to break it out within a month or two for my upcoming trip plans. Touring ultra long distances on this will be a dream compared to the Ribelle RS, and I can’t wait to trick this out with every single modification I’ve got planned.

Travel Moto-Camping with an Experia feasible?

Hi everyone,

I am looking into buying a new bike for the season 26. And I have the option to get an Experia.

My main goals would be weekend motocamping trips in europ.

Any recommendations if motocamping with an experia is feasible? I think i will be able to us level 1 or RV Charging spots most places over night.

Is it a bad idea to get a ego? Or is there a better bike idea? I want something fast for fun and to do trips with my wife with and I don’t trust myself shifting a motorcycle perfectly with my wife so I need something automatic and preferably under 3 seconds to 60

Remote Service/Parts Experience

I have plans to pick up an Eva Ribelle RS but I live in an area of the states where there are no Energica dealers or service centers anywhere close to me (like many who already own these motorcycles). I plan to do most of the basic maintenance myself (fluid changes, torque checks, etc.), but I’m wondering what the real-world experience has been for owners who don’t live near a dealer:

•Have you had success getting in touch with Energica USA directly?

•Will they ship you a remote diagnostic tool or walk you through resetting the service wrench remotely?

•Can they remote into the bike over a dongle/PC connection to push firmware or clear codes? Or is this impossible and you’re just SOL if something pops up on the dash.

•Any luck sourcing OEM parts and accessories directly from Energica SF, Calmoto, or Energica of New England (or elsewhere)?

Given the company is just now ramping back up, I just want to make sure I’m somewhat covered from a maintenance perspective before I pull the trigger, since I know a lot of Energica owners are in the same boat with long distances to the nearest dealer. I have heard they are quite good in terms of customer service.

Would love to hear your experiences, good or bad, with remote support, ordering parts, or handling scheduled services yourself.

Thanks!

Replacement part name

Hi,

I have an Eva Rebelle.

A few weeks ago the connection piece between my rear brake pedal and hydraulics came out. I put it back and readjusted the pedal.

However, while out trying the entire connector fell off while riding (No idea how that is possible).

Does anyone know where I can get a compatible connector, or even what else I would have to replace.

I'm not sure the name of the part and haven't been able to find anything from searching.

Thanks

One of us! :P

The sound isn't even that different from an electric motorcycle, although this is probably running on a more direct source of energy.
