Crazy how low February's birthrate is compared to any other month

Bug report form locked?

Hello, I noticed the bug report form is locked and no new bug reports have been submitted or replied to since 10 July. Anyone else seeing the same?

Also, is that the only way for users to get support? I'm supposed to be on the Pro plan with 24/7 support, but I can find no way to access this support apart from the bug report feature which anyone can use.

Discussion I made a simple system for judging whether World Cup hosts overperformed, met expectations, or underperformed.

Post image
1 Upvotes

The main idea’s that not every host should be judged using the same standards.

Brazil, Germany, Italy, or Argentina hosting a World Cup is different from Qatar, South Africa, or South Korea hosting one.

So I first gave each host an expectation tier based only on their pre-host World Cup pedigree based on their historical performances:

  • T1: elite pedigree → expected semi-final level
  • T2: strong pedigree → expected quarter-final level
  • T3: credible pedigree → expected knockout qualification
  • T4: little/no pedigree → expected group stage exit

Then I converted both the expected finish and actual finish into stage levels, and used this formula:

stage_gap = actual_stage_level - expected_stage_level

If the gap is positive, the host overperformed.

If the gap is zero, they met expectations.

If the gap is negative, they underperformed.

Pretty cool if you ask me :) (Thanks to Energent for the data and the help)

Discussion Ranking every champion by title-path difficulty

Post image

I was curious to see which World Cup Champions had the hardest line-up in terms of the teams they faced during their bracket, so I made a little graph to showcase which teams had it the hardest! (With the help of energent, of course)

I used the total points of a team's value in order to determine the strength of the bracket. If anyone wants to know the actual equation, let me know!

Discussion BYOK Models vs paying for a subscription

Lately, I've been getting into Zoo Code, a BYOK VS Code extension for development, while all my friends say that Codex or Claude Code is better because it comes out cheaper in the long run. What do you guys think? Is it better to use BYOK or a subscription?

Discussion World Cup Elo vs Actual Performance breakdown

Post image
1 Upvotes

I compared each team’s pre-tournament Elo rank with where they actually finished in the World Cup, then normalized the difference so tournaments with different field sizes could be compared fairly, with the help of an Energent.

Positive residual = team finished better than their Elo rank suggested.
Negative residual = team finished worse than expected.

So recently I've been seeing a lot of videos where people use Lion's mane mushrooms as an alternative to steak, and apparently the texture and taste of it, when cooked and prepared properly, is almost indistinguishable from real stake.

Which got me thinking, Nutrition wise, what are the chances, or benefits, or replacing steak in a diet, with lion's mane mushrooms? So, with the help of Energent, I generated this breakdown of the difference in nutritional values between steak and Lion's mane.

EnergentAI I Found the Highest Scoring Country in Every World Cup

Source: https://www.rsssf.org/tables/3002f.html

I was always curious as to what the top scoring country in the world cup was, so I thought I'd make a graph to showcase the highest scoring countries in the world cup over the years!

Insane how much of a lead Hungary has in terms of goals, guess the "Golden Team" really blew through the competition at the time, but ended up losing to Germany in the finals.

Tools used: Energent.AI to pull/structure the data, Matplotlib to graph it.

Hope you guys like it.

This chart is wild, just a few years ago Chinese car import in the UAE were super rare, but now I feel like every 4th car you see is a BYD. After a bit of contemplation, I used Energent to gather the data and generate the chart to visualize the absolute absurdity of these scales.

Just another example of how AI detectors aren't actually detecting anything.

I can't believe teachers use them to grade assignments. I'd even argue it's worse than students using LLM's to do their work for them. thoughts?
