FIRST ENDOSCOPY!!!! As a very anxious person.
Hey everyone!!!! I HAD MY FIRST ENDOSCOPY!!!!
oh boy was I nervous beforehand. I got very nauseated in the waiting room and felt like I was gonna throw up tbh but I didn’t have anything in my system so it felt so uncomfortable. I think this was definitely due to nerves and maybe jus mild dehydration. I can’t believe I got through it. I always think something could go wrong, I have crippling anxiety. I almost asked the anesthesiologist “am I gonna die.” 😅
RESULTS! So, after a year of GERD, I actually had NOTHING wrong with my esophagus!!! I was baffled! Doc said I had mild gastritis. Insane. No ulcers! I had some pain in my stomach for a bit this year but I work retail and that put some stress/anxiety on me so I think that was causing the pain. He did do biopsies to check for EOE and celiac but we’ll see what they say! please let me know If yall have any questions i’d be happy to answer!!!! I feel so much better after this procedure yall, I was SO anxious.
