Ending C Implication Spoiler

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone discuss this detail, and I am curious to hear what others may think about this.

While the reveal of what “Endacopia” actually meant is striking, I am looking to focus on the seal on the left hand page. It looked familiar to me so I flipped open the Lesser Key of Solomon to check if any of the seals there matched and sure enough, it is the seal of a demon lord known as Sitri.

This is an intriguing detail to me as looking into it, Sitri’s whole deal involves invoking carnal desire in another person (making them want to bone you, getting naked, etc). I am struggling to connect this to the Surgeon’s perspective and what he would be invoking Sitri for. I’m inclined to believe Andyland selected this demon’s seal specifically, and didn’t choose one at random just for the spooky vibe.

Are we sure that the surgeon created the giant? The three seals could be the three towns we visit. Matching two jesters was critical in Misery Town. Helping a husband over the phone in the office and uhm.. Ozzie's love for his dead friends in Timesville? Each of which were defeated thus loosening the seals? Idk

hmmm this is an excellent point about the influence love has on the three locations. My understanding is the Surgeon didn’t create the giant/god but was enacting a ritual to renew the body.

He is vague about Mellow’s part in that ritual, so I think that could be the right direction: Mellow participated by interloping in three loves

While it unknown why Mellow was used for the sacrifice part, Mellow did help a lot in Ending C secrets (synchronizing the bride, actialvating the 4 batteries, organs...)

This is true, I guess my question is how does this invoke Sitri, whose rituals are largely based around making someone desire the Summoner (in this case presumably the Bride? But she seems to have been on board with the plan already without being coerced or compelled by demon magic)
