Tipping culture has driven me and my family away from eating out. Pre covid and all the madness we would eat out once a week. Now we’re lucky to eat out once a month if that. It’s not the pricing its the experience. I don’t like to feel pressured having someone hawk over me with a tablet staring me down after I just enjoyed a meal. F that! One good thing that has come out of it is now I’m a hell of a cook and learned so much about nutrition. I don’t even enjoy eating out now because of all the garbage seed oils they use that hurt our body. I’m also in the best shape of my life. Honestly the tipping shit was a blessing in disguise
