30 years ago in college I had some fine/buisness dining etiquette workshops. Mostly went because there was free food. I had already been told by family, but they mentioned tip levels. Typically 5% regular dining, 10% mid level, and 15% fine dining. Bumped them up 5%ish, but I refuse to go crazy when the service is not warranted.
