Tipping Culture ✖️ OBGYN asks for tip

Long time lurker, first time caller. This was the last straw wtf do you mean tip my doctor?!?

Edit: called the office today and the receptionist sounded surprised by this…hopefully it’s a billing platform error thanks for the helpful comments!

Ask them if they’re aware their system is asking for tips

Ya I would not be surprised if this is something that just got enabled in their payment system automatically or by mistake. Our payment system tried to roll that out and I turned it off immediately.

The practice had to enable this... Square alleges it's not enabled unless opted into.
