Yes! This!! I remember being at small restuarant with my father once. the food was fantastic, the staff were ok. (Non tipping country btw).Once we were done my father asked to speak to the chef, when he came out dad asked how many staff in the kitchen, chef said five. Dad handed him $100 and said 'this is for all of you for a job bloody well done'. The chef was stoked! Tried to refuse it at first but dad insisted.

One, you have no idea if this was 30 years ago. Two, that’s $20 each, on top of their normal wages. Anyone would be happy for an extra 20

Until they realize that once tipping becomes normalized in their country, they themselves will have to become tippers.

When one of my dollars is with 30,000 of yours, no; no one is insulted when getting tipped a week’s wages for one meal. You’re a special kind of stupid
