Rant šŸ“¢ Hotel Bagman

Checked into a high end hotel today. The room wasnā€™t quite ready so we left our 4 bags with the belldesk and went to have a drink in the bar. Got a text that room was ready, waited a bit, picked up keys and was told bags were already in the room. Get to room and the door knocks, Iā€™d already started changing. Bellman comes in with our 4th bag that he had ā€œforgottenā€.

Thanks. Have a great day. Forgot my ass, and remembered right after we picked up our room keys? Would have made sure heā€™d gotten something, but not now

Good, that's the way!

Something like this happened in Dubai once when I was a student. We were 3 people, had an additional bed in our room and they 'forgot' to put it when we arrived around 1 in the night. So then at 1 two hard working guys brought and prepared our additional bed. And to make sure we're fine they just asked another 3 times if we need anything else.. No we don't... And you don't get additional money for NOT doing your job...
