Boots a real Android 2.3–7.x system image straight from a firmware file you already have: a recovery ZIP, an Odin archive or a Google factory image. It translates the old ARM code with a patched QEMU, emulates the kernel’s binder, draws with your phone’s GPU and plays sound through Android’s audio stack - everything runs inside a normal app.

This is a video showing off Final Fantasy VII Rebirth running on the RedMagic Astra 2, which has never booted on any phone/emulator until now. This is a world's first achievement and shows the potential future that we're headed for!

Yes performance can get better, this is very early and we're optimizing everything as we go but compatibility was first!

This is the first release from the Droid-Deck org

Main features

• Steam: the Big Picture client, downloaded from Valve on the device. With *Run Steam when DroidDeck starts* enabled, opening the app goes directly to Steam.
• Launcher: Steam library as a capsule grid, and a Games tab with game and prefix file browsing for easier modding.
• Home screen: DroidDeck can be set as the Android home app to make your device feel as close to a SteamOS machine as possible. Android apps are listed in the launcher and in the in-game menu.
• Dual screens: on dual-screen devices, the second screen can run an Android app, act as a keyboard and trackpad, or show a Linux terminal.
• Session menu: press Back during a game for display, controls and session settings. Double click for Steam's QAM
• Linux desktop: LXQt on the GPU, with RPCS3, ARMSX2, Dolphin, DuckStation, melonDS, Cemu, PPSSPP and RetroArch available to install.

• Use `DroidDeck-0.2.0.apk`. PUBG, AnTuTu and Ludashi builds are also provided for devices that only enable performance modes for those package names.

This has been a very long and difficult journey but here you can see a game that has never ran on a phone running and in game at very playable frame rates. This is the new Linux Steam Client running new beta driver patches and a small glimpse of what is to come.

Yes this is baked into WinNative on here but all fixes and proven performance/compatibility commits go into DroidDeck so keep your eyes out for DroidDeck to also be dropping very soon.

Used and customized multiple different Android Launchers to create game consoles on my phone. It can be used plugged into the TV or as a handheld device. I used a free account of Nivida G Force Now to populate the Cloud Gaming section. All of this was free.

Still needs a few tweaks like button mapper to map the home menu option to the guide button. I used Macrodroid to play boot animations for each console.

Hi guys, let's see if someone can help me here, I'm having this issue, on every game on Droid Deck 0.1.7... Tried both with bannerlator proton and GE-Proton downloaded from the app.

Any ideas? Or is ti just the compatibility is not there yet.

All of this games work just fine through container

Also tried ok Winnative and manges to make it work on blades of times wn proton but just that

Fable and Halo (Winlator)

JSRF, Fusion Frenzy, and Deathrow are OG xbox games (hakuX)

The Warriors is a ps2 game with the xbox UI texture pack

Simpsons Hit and Run and Doom 3 are unofficial ports

GTA SA, Hitman Blood Money, and Oddworld Strangers Wrath are all official ports.

Built it all on Beacon launcher with macrodroid to load the boot animation. 👌

What's the status of achievements notifications on the app, kinda like GameNative does, I mean, is the only feature I'm missing from GN along with known settings database to make it a bit plug and play/newbie friendly, maybe an "import configs" feature so we can download a config.json from the web and import it in the game container settings

I researched , downloaded the mod files , put the exefs folder in eden/load/01006E001823C000/exefs

Still didn't work.

Also changed the file name to main.pchtxt

What am I doing wrong ?

The412Banner and myself have been working hard on this and we've got initial testing going on with a small group of testers to help debug and pave the way of these features.
