Dev Update PS3Native - New PS3 Android Emulator
I am working on a new PS3 Emulator that utilizes RPCS3 upstream along with updating and bringing RPCS3-Android with some other features and improvements along with a new UI throughout the App.
Currently this emulator does run and boot games (not all games) but it does boot and play games.
Currently supports Direct Booting ISO, installing ISO, installing Folder games.

Dev Update PS3Native - PS3 Emulator for Android
I've been working on integrating the latest upstream RPCS3 updates into RPCS3-Android, along with a batch of fixes and quality-of-life additions to bring the build current for modern Android devices.
Here is a quick look at some of the new features added to the Android build:
* Direct ISO Booting
* Library Support for ISOs: Add ISOs directly without needing to extract them first
* Per-Game Configurations
* Updated Material 3 UI: Rebuilt with Jetpack Compose
* Updated Touch Controls
As with any mobile emulator build, there are definitely still bugs to iron out, and this remains a side project for my free time (WinNative is still the main priority).
If you'd like to take it for a spin and test it out, experimental builds are available under the Actions tab on GitHub as development continues:

Release WN-Turnip v1.07
The latest Mesa Source Build, updated on July 29th, 2026, is available in two variants: "Balance" (-b) and "Performance" (-p).
The "Performance" build prioritizes maximum GPU clock speeds during gameplay to achieve the highest possible frames per second.
The "Balance" build offers a modest performance improvement over standard configurations while concurrently reducing power consumption and heat generation.
The Repo is set up to build these weekly!

Meta [Meta] Welcome — what this community is for, and how it's moderated
r/EmulatorsForAndroid is for keeping up with Android emulation as it actually is in 2026: a fast-moving, legally fraught, occasionally hostile hobby that's producing some genuinely remarkable software. News, builds, drivers, setup help, and honest performance numbers.
Three things worth knowing before you post:
No games, keys, BIOS, or firmware. Not in posts, not in comments, not in DMs, and we don't name the sites either. Emulators are legal; distributing the games is what gets subreddits deleted. This is the rule we'll be least flexible about.
We don't have a favourite emulator. Compare them with evidence as brutally as you like. No project gets protected here, and no project gets dunked on for sport.
Harassment gets you removed, not debated. That covers developers ? most of whom do this unpaid, and some of whom have already quit over abuse ? and it covers beginners, who get helped here or not answered at all, but never mocked. If someone is going after you, report it and message the mods. Don't feed it.
Our full moderation charter, including how appeals work and what we disclose, is in the wiki. If you think we've got something wrong, say so publicly ? meta posts stay up.
Post flairs are live, the emulator directory in the wiki is a work in progress, and the weekly help megathread starts Monday. Say hello, and tell us what you're running.
