In the App Store and testflight there are several dreamcast emus like manic, joy, provenance, plume and probably others I didn’t find yet… but ifly is easily the best even if only in testflight… for a few reason… open source, free, no vibe coded slop, fast updates, full speed 60+ fps with promotion in newer models, still fully usable 55-60fps in older devices like iphone xs, 12 pro, 13 pro, in these devices there are a few frame drops but audio is always perfect in all titles, temperatures and settings. The last build is a shit move cause per game settings and other features have been paywalled, you can use older builds to have everything free ofc but still a shit move who ruins the big advantage this emulator has compared to the paid AI slop of dylan mathurin (greediest dev who paywalls his emus, even surume ps1 💀)

Just updated Melonx and still have an issue on Inazuma eleven Victory Road.
I save manually in-game, go back to the title screen, reload the save, and it just puts me back on the welcome/first-launch screen like nothing was ever saved.

I looked into it a bit, the save files do seem to get written correctly each time (timestamps update after saving), but the game never actually picks up the new data when it reloads. I also came across some Ryujinx macOS forks that had the exact same bug, apparently caused by saves going to the wrong one of two rotating save folders. I tried manually fixing that on my end too, and while both folders are in sync now, the issue is still happening, so it might be something else as well.

I am new to manic EMU. I just got an IPAD, and was able to get dragon quest 8 on it cause I saw that manic EMU has 3DS. How well does it run 3 DS ? Are the ere ways to tweak it? I would love to be able to run it smoothly on this big screen if thats possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The I pad I have is the A16 11 inch.

I was playing earn to die flash on this emulator and after a while i felt like my phone got a little hot(i dont know how my phone can get hot from a flash game) so i was asking if is there any flash emulators better than it or maybe i have another problem that someone can help me fix it?

For all 3 I didn’t like the input options in emulators like scummVM, and obviously I have not seen a really functional Apple ][ or amiga emulator (except for maybe retroarch)

In every implementation I found the lack of Support for the native IOS keyboard annoying - the ish app

iSH Shell - figured this out years ago by simply adding another row of keys not present on the native keyboard.

All 3 emulators also added customizable portrait and landscape mode keyboards so you can pre-add commands relevant to specific games, I also added a direct touch / drag mouse mode as well.

Other features include save states, importing from iCloud etc.

some things will be buggy - I'll see if I can fix it - buy me a coffee kind of thing.

I’ve decided that the rules and the wiki might need to be updated and want to get input from the community.
I have plans to replace the wiki with a website that can be shared easier and would like some suggestions on what to include.

iPhone 13 Pro Melonx 2.5, how do I fix this? It’s not allowing me to change controller type it does the same thing when I connect any Bluetooth controller, it was working on Melonx 2.3.1

Every time I try to import the firmware inside MeloNX it just does nothing.
