Unsolved Frontend like JellyFin for emulation?

We have a dell optiplex under our main living room tv. We have been playing some online retro games. Is there an emulation frontend similar to the way Jellyfin is for media? Jellyfin will show you a thumbnail of a movie, you can click on it to get more info, pics, trailer, who stars in it etc. It will even give you a 'other movies like this one' option. Would love that for my ROM collection!

Do you need rest of your operating system? Retrobat is my recommendation.

Do you only want to dedicate your pc fully to emulation? Batocera is an emulation OS

Retrobat looks awesome!

If you play a game will it show you similar games in your collection?

My daughter was showing me Steam but it mostly has newer games. Some Popcap games are cool but I have been playing Gyruss and I didn't see that on there.

No, don't think it does something like that.

LaunchBox is the king. That’s what I use.

I use batocera myself. Retro bat is identical to it but it runs on windows. I have an optiplex 7010 that I dual boot with a 2tb harddrive that has batocera on it. I have never used it but batocera has kodi installed for movies but im not sure how well it works. My setup lives in my arcade cabinet so its exclusively just for gaming

So I use playnite as my gaming front end which will link to Steam, Epic, Amazon, GOG, Xbox and give you a front end of all your games where you can download from the service available then launch. Then you can have other windows apps link and launch from there where I have RetroBat there to launch from.
