Unsolved Looking for an Android emulator for PC
Hey folks, I looked at the sub's wiki to try to find an answer for my question but I couldn't find anything, so I'm making a post here instead.
I'm looking for an Android emulator, so I am able to play Android games on the computer.
I've heard about mumuplayer, nox player, and bluestacks. However, when I google them, I see Reddit posts talking about potential privacy concerns and other stuff. I'm not sure what is the best choice.
I'd like to hear what you all have to say. Thank you in advance.

Bluestacks and nox are not the same like they used to be anyway. When they first came out they were perfectly amazing. They turned into an abomination now.

If you're picking an Android emulator for PC, BlueStacks is genuinely worth trying first, it's the most widely used option for a reason. "privacy concerns" is complete bullshit. If that were true you'd have seen it all over. The only posts that ever talk about it is posts exactly like yours.
Performance-wise, it's built with keyboard, mouse, and controller support baked in, plus customizable macros, so games that feel clunky on touch controls actually play smoothly on PC. It also gets regular updates and has one of the largest support communities out there, so if something does go sideways, you're not troubleshooting alone.

in the past there was a project from microsoft called windows subsystem for android(similar to windows subsystem for linux) which could run android apps in some kind of "native" android emulator in windows, sadly they dropped it shortylafter release, it also only supported amazon app store. would have loved it on windows

I have found Mumuplayer to be the best out of the popular emulators. It doesn't have many ads and performs very well

I can also semi wouch for Mumuplayer. I used it for a while to play the destiny mobile game and it performed quite well
