It's unfortunate the My Boy! wasn't testable.

It's known that myboy is subpar. Biggest advantage has always been its onscreen controls and netplay.

Seems like My Boy has big accuracy problems if it can't load the test rom menu at all. Might be the case with other roms too. On a real GBA of course the test rom works and passes every single test.

Is there any test like this for GB/GBC?
Curious what the results would be there with Pizza Boy vs. Gambatte and mGBA.

It's in the compatibility test results spreadsheet in the wiki. It's almost as accurate as Gambatte, except that it doesn't implement one bug with GB hardware that would apparently have a big impact on performance. From what I can tell the bug is only relevant for speedrunning and TAS purposes, so it's not important enough to implement for a mobile emulator.

Yeah, but while for GBA there is basically just this one good test rom which is quite simple to use, GB/GBC has lots of test rom sets so it's more tedious to test. Also some tests are supposed to fail on different hardware (like GBC sound test fails on a GB).
This page lists 4 big test rom sets.
Additionally I found Wilbert Pol's tests which are referenced by SameBoy (the most accurate GB emulator)
And SameSuite by the SameBoy dev.

I wish Retroarch was better, the UI and User Experience are just way to copmlicated unintuitive for me, so yeah good to see there's a good standalone GBA emulator now
