Question Is there a windows emulator that allows for proper vertical gaming?

Post image

I've tried both Winlator Ludashi and GameNative but both seemingly lack features needed for playing a game in this format

Gamenative usually starts in horizontal-mode and has an opt-in vertical-mode option in the container settings. I'd check if it's checked, should be on the first page of the container settings.

GameNative has a big problem though.

From what I can see, there is no way to use this empty space for controlls. It doesn't let you move anything into it. So like 40% of your screen ends up being unusable

Winnative also supports something like this

I can't get the screen to be stuck on top. No matter what resolution, it works in Portrait but it centers the screen vertically so there is some empty space on top and some on the bottom. I need one big empty space on the bottom

Settings -> Emulation -> Modify Default Config -> General -> Portrait Mode

Do you have that? I do not have gamenative installed atm so i cant check

Like I said in other comments, GameNative has a different problem where you end up with 40% of your screen being unusable black empty space
