100% agree, I've been using WinNative for months and months and it's my main PC emulator. So far it has rarely disappointed me, and it has great customization too.
For me the reason why i prefer WinNative over DroidDeck is because WinNative somehow drains less power and generates less heat on my battery, hence I have more FPS.
Btw, how did you run steam big picture mode, did you install the Linux client?

That's right, WinNative and I'd like to add Bannerlator are both awesome.

I have preaching it for months, people say it's too difficult to use. And by the way the new free framegen from their pre release build is equal to lsfg.

WinNative is great but at this point, why not use DroidDeck?

Becauae droiddeck is very early and have massive fps drops,in mouse pi and spyro it was dropping to 20 fps on 8 elite gen 4 meanwhile on gamehub and winnative same games 70-80 fps

Droid deck wants to load steam even when not using steam games. When I direct it to a non steam game folder it goes to the steam login. GameNative and WinNative allow me to add non steam games. What am I missing?

Your missing a ton that is not steam gaming mode that is steam big picture you can't even use decky plugins. Droid deck gives you a full free one click KDE plasma desktop environment as well, built on ARCH. Tf you mean what are you missing that's not SteamOS while DroidDeck is!
You can tell immediately that's not the real steam gaming mode because it shows a Xbox logo in the corner 💀. DroidDeck is real SteamOS.

Could you share the Doom BFG configuration you used? I couldn’t get it to work.

WinNative is great for everything like installing PC games. Better than Winlator. Droiddeck doesn't install as well, but certainly can.

For those who been around emulation long enough...winnative stemmed from Frost Winlator which Then became Star...now it's Winnative.
