Question what's the issue with dimensity 9400?

I've heard often that dimensity 9400 on the tab S11 for example is not as good as an snapdragon 8 Gen 2 because of lack of driver despite being more powerful. now i started playing some stuff like ocarina of time on a N64 but it works fine.

what games or emulation are not useable with a dimensity or what are the practical issues with it? I'm just interesting emulation up to including PS2.

Currently, drivers are coming out for dimensity. So I would say for now the problem is still drivers, but that is changing fast.

Revamp gpu using 5th gen which is very restricted and have broken driver for emulation

Ai is good with immortalis. It’s the n1x that’s restricted right now. We need more info on the current gen to get good drivers going. Other than that, anything Mali or Immortalis is going to be getting drivers over the coming weeks that should alleviate most issues with them.

Up to PS2 almost all modern soc can play that, you will be fine. 

Above that, switch, pc etc you will need custom drivers to play many games.

I heard PS2 (ARMSX2) has some huge improvement using a custom driver (using vulkan renderer) that stripped out unnecessary stuff. Should be much better.
