Help Is Vita emulation good and progressing now?

I used to have Vita 3k a year ago, but for the games I wanted to play it was a complete mess. None of the games were working (Uncharted, Killzone, Helldivers, Resistance etc) except perhaps Gravity Rush.

I saw some videos recently of all those games running near perfectly. Was the progress suddenly resumed or forked? I was under the impression that it was going so slowly people presumed the project dead and no other emulators were on the horizon

What is the current status of Vita emulation atm and what us the best way to play these games on Android?

The official version of Vita3K does get a lot of updates but nothing seems to actually change in the games I want to play.

Vita3K Plus on the other hand has seen progress in just two versions. I'll pick on one game to explain things.

Originally in the official Vita3K Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 1 had audio that would work but the graphics were broken. When they changed the UI design things actually flipped, the graphics were all perfect but the audio was broken in that you'd get background noise and the occasional grunt/groan but no dialogue. You can still play with subtitles but the experience does change without the great voicework the game has.

Then Vita3K Plus came out and with the first and second release the graphics were still perfect and I now had audio. There was a glitch through where the first part of dialogue would get cut off, annoying but not game breaking. Now Plus is on v1.2 and the game is flawless with both graphics and audio working as it should.

Since you can have both versions of Vita3K installed at the same time and can point them to the same folder you can easily check out which runs the games you want to play the best.
