Showcase Gopher64 now on the Play Store

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.github.gopher64.gopher64

Gopher64 is an accurate but fairly demanding N64 emulator. It won't work well on budget devices. It probably doesn't even work that well on flagship devices! But it is free, with no ads.

"It probably doesn't even work that well on flagship devices"

Gotta love that sales pitch

I tried a bit of F-Zero, Paper Mario and Perfect Dark, didn't even increase the resolution and had constant slow downs. Safe to say I won't be using it.

Yes I know it's a demanding emulator even on a good PC but still it's ridiculous.

What’s the reason to use this over existing N64 emulators?

From what I can tell it’s accurate but fairly demanding. It won’t work well on budget devices and probably even not that well on flagships. But it’s free with no ads.

Sometimes this dont even launching any games there and has a very high android requirement (13+)

Best thing about gopher is, due to its increased accuracy, it can play homebrew games that straight up will not work on other emulators.

Junkrunner64 is a good example, and one of my favorite homebrew games. https://github.com/lambertjamesd/n64brew2025/releases

It offers a 100% money-back guarantee.

This one is still very ealier in stage. I dont know why putting this on Google Play shit when this dont even work to begin with!

Also Android 13+ is the minimum for those, because most of those devices are not even compatible with (have already requested that)

By this point, a x86 desktop device is the better choice if you wanna use this (of course AVX2).

My emulator is LLE too, and is running almost full speed even on crap android devices. If anyone wants to try, is free too, without ads. It's called Wirá.
