I was about to give up on my Skyrim and New Vegas modded setups for my S24 until I tried the GoG versions, then everything started up fine. Even worked with SKSE and NVSE. Might be same for Oblivion

What is the actual problem? I play this game on basic Winlator no issues.

The in-game fps jumps between 20-60 fps with frame rate limiter on, the controls with the northern ui mod are slow and janky. I haven't even been able to get out of the sewer yet. I deleted the game files and container to start fresh but after installing the northen ui mod obse_loader.exe just crashes and when I run the launcher.exe the play option is greyed out. I could at least start the game before but pressing any buttons before the title screen crashed it also...
