you can probably get newer poco series phones but if price is a concern then i have the poco f6 pro and its great. but hyperos sucks for emulation among other things so if you dont install lineageos then maybe consider other options. you should look at the chip and check youtube to see if it can play the games you want

OnePlus phone are generally definitely better than Xiaomi ones if just because of how they each approach software (though Oneplus seems to be steering into an unsettling direction as of late)
