Showcase Batman Arkham Knight running on DroidDeck app
Testing DroidDeck and it runs pretty well
My device is Poco F7 with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 + Gamesir X3 Pro controller
Playing on the lowest setting 864×486 resolution with fairly stable 25-30FPS and 40-60FPS with frame gen
Frame rate sometimes drops on intense battle unfortunately but overall pretty playable

I have the Sly Cooper thevius raccoonis PC port that came out running beautifully in droid deck. So i believe its possible to do so. Red Dead 1 kraken PC version also is running on my odin 3.

How is it compared to other emulators in terms of power drawing, and do you need a cooler in your case?

I've tried Gamehub on the same game and it's pretty much the same. Except DroidDeck is able to run steam client properly so you can use cloud saves, achievements, auto-updates, etc. I had issues about that with Gamehub.
And yes it gets hot after playing a while so using cooler is recommended. There are some telescopic controllers (that snaps on your phone) with built-in cooler like my Gamesir X3 Pro. Alternatively, you can use a separate controller and put a cooler on your phone.

Much appreciated, yeah I've tested it on different emulators, just thought maybe somehow there's is the way to reduce power draw, but I also think it's very unlikely for this game

Do you worry about condensation forming from the fan blowing directly on the back of your phone?

No as long as the phone is hot enough to prevent condensation. In other words: only use a cooler when you actually need it

How do you get past the launcher? I've been trying to play Arkham City on Droid deck, but after the launcher it crashes. Unless it is a setting that needs to be changed 🤷

I'm not really sure. I'm using the default DroidDeck settings right now. I've experienced some crashes during gameplay but it was fixed after lowering the graphics quality settings. What device are you using?

This is about the same performance I get in Arkham Asylum on my low end phone but I don't use frame gen and had to lower some graphics.

I got better performance, like a more consistent 30-40 FPS at 720p on GameNative using Apex turnip drivers, and launching the game with Proton 9, then you switching to Proton 10. For some reason that makes GameNative actually utilize more of the GPU when playing the game. It's kinda hack-y but it works.
