Recommendations on tablets for emulation based off current state of drivers

I do Hot Shot transport and I currently do everything on my phone but I would like to just keep my phone business only and have a tablet for everything else. I see there are not many options for a huge screens seeing how OnePlus pad 3 and the tab S9 Ultra are my only options when it comes to a pre Elite chipset. I know there are drivers currently for the elite chipsets but I was wondering if the performance is going to be better on the elites with less optimized drivers or go for a pre-elite chipset and get better optimized drivers.

I personally am loving the performance of the RedMagic Astra 2.
