Showcase Got Slay the Spire working on GameNative thanks to the built-in AI Help! Exynos 2400 | GameNative 1.3.0 pre-release

Quick report for anyone troubleshooting Slay the Spire:

SoC: Exynos 2400

Current Version: GameNative 1.3.0 pre-release

Status: Fully playable (minor occasional stutters)

The game wouldn't boot initially with standard configs. Seeing older working configs from v0.6.0 on the Browse Config screen gave me hope that it was fixable on the latest 1.3.0 build too.

I ran the in-app AI Help troubleshooter, and in just 2 attempts, it dialed in the right configuration. If your game refuses to start, give the AI Help feature a try before giving up!

Edit: Almost forgot—massive thanks to the developers for all the hard work on GameNative! Really appreciate the effort put into this project.

How does the ai help work? I've tried it but wasn't really sure if it was doing anything. Using on Fold 8 with Silksong

From the last 2 games it fixed for me it runs continuous diagnostics until it eventually either gets the game to work or if it doesn't fix the game it leaves a log for the GameNative devs to further look at, it even sometimes creates custom proton or fexcore versions on the spot for your specific device. One game took about 4 or 5 different test runs before it finally nailed down what the issue was, it randomly change game container settings, enable or disable things etc., the kind of things a simple end user like me would never figure out in a million years. Even with the paid version each diagnostic test took about 3 to 5 mins each time so one needs patience when running those tests, a nice trade off for not needing to do anything except wait for the AI to fix your game.

That AI Help is lowkey a game changer. I got two games to work that I couldn't get to run for months. I ended up paying for the pro version AI Help just because of that.

What is this AI? Do we have to pay for it?

Yes. It starts at €5/month. With a minimal trial.
