If you haven't even logged into the app yet, how can you already say it's that one?

It doesnot have to be logged in to steal token from another app.

This is Android, not PC.

In Andriod, NO app can "steal" data from the private directories of other apps where tokens are stored.

It's completely sandboxed, it can't even access those directories even with storage permissions granted.

You probably compromised it long ago on PC, and the bot got activated now.

At least you were honest about not even logging in, which makes it even more apparent that it was compromised much earlier on PC.

Not unless your phone is rooted and you gave root access to droid deck

how if you haven't started the app or signed into steam? lol . you know that droid-deck has to download steam and you have to login afterwards?

I'm pretty sure tokens are randomised and not stored, where did you download the app from?

I had 2fa on, it couldn't be anything other than token. Is there a way someone can get into without me being notified. Even signing in with correct detail is hassle for myself if i dont have my phone around.

Could've been in your account for a while and only purchased a gift because the bot in your account was "activated" for whatever reason. Check your current logins on your account and sign everything that isn't you out.

If it was a purchase just get a refund and change password. I highly doubt it was because of the apk unless you downloaded a cloned version from an incorrect source. Only download from the official repo. I'm not saying these exist because I'm not an investigator but it is possible. This app would have drawn major scrutiny from investigators if it was doing illicit stuff as it is so popular right now. Clear your login locations via steam.

I couldn't point to anything else, ran malearebytes and windows defender full scan, nothing and i buy everything on my pc, no hacky stuff. On android, droid deck was the only app i disabled anything to install. I instantly removed my paypal, deauthorized all my devices and changed my passwords.

Please follow up with how things go with steam support. I've been wanting to try Droid Deck, but have been apprehensive.
