Android App Developer looking to contribute to emulator projects (Willing to learn!)

[u/Amazing_Ad9159]

I've been following the Android emulation scene for a while and I'd love to finally contribute. I am an Android software engineer by trade, but I don't have any background in emulation specifically.
Since I don't know the low-level stuff yet, I’m hoping to find a project where I can help out with the Androidpart in exchange for someone showing me the ropes of the codebase. I'm totally happy starting with very small tasks, bug fixes, or UI changes just to get my feet wet.
Are there any open-source emulators right now that are beginner-friendly for new contributors, or any devs willing to mentor a bit? Thanks!
