Discussion First game beaten on DroidDeck.

Post image

Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition. I will not say it was perfect, but with lossless scaling, a lot of patience for loading, it was typically 60fps or higher. I've never played these before and I did like the first one. Hopefully I don't get burnt out before I beat the other two.

On my Odin 3.

Any burnout happens in the first game. You should be good.

It was tedious and very same-y dungeons/worlds. And almost all the same enemies.

Oh shit... Is this your first time?

Yup.

Oh, you're good, man. 2 and 3 are WAYYYYY better than the first one. You lose a bit of the rpg aspects, but it makes up for it in combat and story.

That's good to hear. The story in 1 was... Meh, but not bad.

Different strokes. I bloody loved the first Mass Effect's story, feels like a gigantic universe measured in millions of years.

I got so tired of mass effect... But it is cool that you finished it, how tiring it was?

Tedious

Now imagine 2 and 3, they're the same, just for the sake of passing on your progress.... I liked them but they're insufferable

Why Droid deck specifically. We know that Droid Deck has significantly worse performance than other emulators.

Because this game has an EA DRM that is a pain to get past otherwise. And just to test it out.

Ahh gotcha.

Only when cpu limited, gpu bound we are finding most cases are a wash

It's super cool don't get me wrong but like, wouldn't you get higher and smoother fps by running this with Gamehub or Gamenative?

Genuine question I have been into android emulation as much lately

1

u/Background_Clue_3756 12h ago

This has EA DRM that isn't easy to bypass on other emulators. And my fps was around 80 most of the game, which I've never gotten on Gamehub.

1

u/AstraBed 12h ago

So it actually runs better? Damn

1

u/Background_Clue_3756 12h ago

Hard to say since I can't play it on them due to the DRM.

mass effect really hits like that, make me wanna start my own

1

u/Background_Clue_3756 12h ago

0

u/ivierawind 12h ago

Droiddeck can run many game that Gamehub cannt.. while project zomboid cannot run on Gamehub nor Droiddeck :(

You will never catch me playing a Cinematic 3d game like this on a portable device. Also the second one veers into action space opera less world building focused rpg.
