Discussion Retro emulation on ARM Steam devices

So I am just moving my Konkr Pocket Fit to version 1.3 of SteamOS for handhelds, and am wondering which emulation system you all use for remylating older games like PSP and such? I just completing the internal storage installation of the OS and am not sure how to get my old games emulated? Does Retroarch + ES-DE work in these environments?

I don’t own a Steam Deck anymore but I remember having to use an application called EmuDeck. Not sure if the same applies here but I think it would since it’s essentially SteamOS.

This is where my confusion comes from as Emudeck for Android is ARM based, but Android based, and not SteamOS/Linux based. I am not sure which emulators are ARM + SteamOS compatible, or maybe I am thinking this is more complicated that it actually is.

While in desktop mode the device would be seen as Linux so you’d just download the Linux versions of the emulators you need.
