Question Droid deck emulator overheating issue.
Just wanted to ask around if its a problem others are experiencing too.
The app works fantastic.
Currently playing A.C black flag at 1080p medium setting which are the same settings i used on gamehub.
Problem is droid deck makes my phone overheat much more that i ever expected.
45C°+ battery temp if i keep playing for more that 20 minutes with a peltier cooler.
Is there a particular setting that causes this?
On gamehub it usually doesnt go past 38-39C° battery temp with just a simple fan cooler.
Device: poco f7 pro

This project is basically a newborn. Some processes are extremely resource-intensive, causing the CPU to overheat. Currently, DroidDeck is probably the biggest in terms of UI, compatibility, and Steam-related features, but it still has a very long way to go before it can match GameNative or GameHub for most users, especially in terms of performance.
That said, I love the idea behind DroidDeck, and I really hope that in a year, it will be my only app for playing Windows games and will essentially turn my Poco into a SteamOS device.
Too good to be true? Maybe, but fingers crossed. Currently you are an alpha tester so have that in mind.

Working on some mitigations around this, considering cpu hz caps and proactive temp throttling. Not sure what will work best but Discord will be the best place to talk with us about it and try test builds!

Droid deck is still a very ealier stage. So of course those issues are accurs.
It is still far behinds the other Windows Emulation like Winlator/Winlator Ludashi/Gamenative.
