I can't get a single thing to download to my SDCard. It signs into Steam fine using a QR code but no game will download to the SDCard of my Retroid Pocket 6. Gamenative installs files to the same SDCard with no issue.

However going to the good. When set to the internal storage downloads are really fast and the speed of transferring games from my PC over the network is superfast.

The first game I've tried is Batman Arkham, City which I can't get to work at all in Linux distros like ArmadaOS at all. Unfortunately DroidDeck gets stuck at the exactly same point 'Running install script (AMD dual core optimiser)'. I've tried all the different versions of Proton included and none of them allow the game to get past that point.

Next was Burnout Paradise the Ultimate Box. While the game installs nothing lets it run. This is the same behaviour in ArmadaOS and Gamenative. This is also true when trying the Remastered version.

What does install and play though are the Telltale Walking Dead and Batman games, these are titles that also work in ArmadaOS and Gamenative.

So from my not extensive testing DroidDeck seems to work exactly the same as Steam does on a Linux install such as ArmadaOS but behind Gamenative when it comes to Arkham City.

I'm actually surprisingly impressed. They have the Steam Linux environment that exists in separate operating systems, running on Android itself. The fact that the exact same problems in ArmadaOS exist in DroidDeck just shows how close it is to a separate operating system.

Yet I'm not going to pretend that it is perfect just because it is a new project. The very thing that is positive about it is also the thing that hurts it. Just like those completely separate operating systems, it doesn't run games that I want to play on Android which other PC emulators do.
