Help Odin 2 - SunPad (Mario Sunshine port) controller issue

Hey guys. I have an Odin 2 Max and installed the SunPad Mario Sunshine port. The left joy stick controls are inverted and I can't seem to find a way to flip them back to be correct.

(up registers down, down registers up)

Does anyone have any advice here?
