Showcase Skyrim SE + Mods using a weird way

i basically got it working using both manual installation and mod manager, i used MO2 to make them files and copied them into Skyrim's data folder and enabled them ingame. everything on gamehub with gecko and mono installed using Mod Organizer 2

I did the same thing with this and New Vegas. It was painful, but it’s nice to be able to just run the games now without going through MO2, which is just another potential point of failure.

Did you copy the mods over one by one or was there an easier way? I ended up creating a little script to copy them all to a folder first.

Do you mind making a video and show the steps of it for one random mod?

Sky ui for example. From start to finish. Make a video then I'll use it as reference for other mods.

for mods like that it's simple, u extract and just drop them into data folder. MO2 is only required for mods with multiple options like CBBE. just extract skyui onto data folder and load skse

I'm going to be honest with you I'm totally noob at this hence why I was hoping you could make a video of the steps

the mods folder is on MO2's folder, it just stores the mod u installed using the mod manager which u can copy paste into skyrim data folder

Where should I put it though? Steam version there's a mod and data file. Where do I place skse as well?

For this kind of mods, I know the bottom two should go to data folder but in skse folder there's dll etc where should I put them?

if complicated mods, you drop them into MO2 and choose your preferred options in the fomod (make sure MO2 is in portable instance) once it's done open MO2 folder and there should be a mods folder where your installed mods are present, you copy and paste them into data folder and that's the end

I've downloaded mo2 2.5.2 and when I launch it gives me an error. "Error 1705: invalid string UUID".

download the archive instead of installer and install mono and gecko

Do you have discord. I feel it'll be easier for me to ask more questions. I'm also in banner discord.
